Paul leads the management team at Newcomb and Company (Newcomb), and casts our corporate vision. He is adept at nurturing a culture of excellence in all we do, and consistently encourages our long-standing commitment to the communities we serve.
Expertise
Joining the company in 1987 as our first Controller, Paul was later promoted to Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As CFO, he managed administrative functions within the company including finance, risk management, information technology, human resources, and regulatory compliance. Paul became President of Newcomb in 2019.
A graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Paul is a Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of Vistage, the Construction Financial Management Association, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
The Personal Side
Outside of work, Paul is generous with his time in the community and has spent numerous hours volunteering. He currently serves on the boards of the Tammy Lynn Center and the Methodist Home for Children.
